To run Sumea Paint Chat, you need to install the Java Software for the Desktop at http://www.java.com (it's on the top right of the page, you can't miss it) to run Paint Chat!! If the Java applet stops at 80% for a while, click refresh!! Sumea Paint Chat may take a while to load up dialup connections, but it should be ok once that's done!! Make sure to type your name in the chat line and click enter to start when Sumea Paint Chat loads!!! |

Sumea IRC Chat is a java irc client that connects to an irc server in your browser, so make sure your browser is capable of displaying java applets! You need to download Java software for the desktop if it isn't. Grab it at www.java.com! The chat is on the irc.oftc.net server in the #sumea channel if you want to use your own irc program such as MIRC to connect. A password is not required - it's only useful if you are a registered user on the server as it's used as a means to identify yourself to the server. When running the applet, you will get a security warning. Don't worry, nothing malicious is happening here! It just needs your permission to run the applet. |
