Alfred Milgrom
(B.Sc.(Hons)) is Chairman, publisher and founder of the
Beam Group of companies. Alfred has extensive experience in high
technology research, publishing and multimedia.
He has a scientific background which includes
post-graduate studies at the University of Melbourne.
Alfred was one of the founders of Outback Press
Pty. Ltd. in 1972, an Australian book publishing company supporting
the work of emerging Australian writers, including Morris Lurie and
Elizabeth Jolley.
In 1978, he founded Melbourne House (Publishers)
Limited in London, which was involved in general book publishing,
computer book publishing and computer software publishing.
In addition to his role as Executive Chairman of
the company, Alfred is a Director of Australian Multimedia
Enterprise Limited, an active member of the Victorian Premier's
Communications and Multimedia Task Force and a key contributor in
all Beam titles.

Non-executive director John Thompson
has extensive general management and marketing experience with a
number of successful Australian and US Companies involved in the
information technology and telecommunications industries.
His roles have included Managing Director of Prime
Computer Australia from 1980-1984, and Managing Director of Oracle
Systems Australia from 1991 to 1994. In the late 1980's John was
involved in taking Eastek Corporation, a company developing image
processing products, public on NASDAQ.
He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of
United Telecommunications Pty Ltd, a service provider to
Telstra.

Adam Lancman (B.BusStuds. CPA) is
Managing Director of the Beam Group. He is an integral member of
management with prime responsibility for the day to day operations
of the Group.
Adam has an accounting and finance background. He
is a qualified accountant. Adam worked as an auditor with Deloitte
Haskins and Sells and in treasury activities at Tricontinental prior
to joining Beam in 1982 as its Financial Controller.
Adam is primarily responsible for overseeing all
sales, marketing and licensing activities of Beam, especially in the
international markets. By spending three months of every year
overseas representing Beam, Adam has established an extensive
network of contacts throughout USA and Europe. In addition to his
responsibilities at Beam, Adam is a member of the VIC 21 Multimedia
Development Fund, an initiative of the Victorian
Government.

Dr. Terrence Cutler is a
non-executive Director of Beam International. Dr. Cutler heads up
Cutler and Company, a consulting practice specialising in
telecommunications and new media which advises companies and
industry on corporate strategy and policy issues. From 1988 to 1990,
Dr. Cutler headed Telecom's Corporate Strategy and Corporate Affairs
areas as Executive Director.
Dr. Cutler has published widely, and is a frequent
speaker at business forums both in Asia and Australia. He has
recently been appointed Chairman of the Australian Government's
Information Policy Advisory Council (IPAC). He is also a member of
the Australian Government's Industry Research and Development Board,
a Director of Cinemedia (Film Victoria and State Film Centre) and a
member of the Victorian Premier's Task Force on Communications and
Multimedia.
